Spooktacular Tea Dance

I was tempted to use a few Halloween themed spooktacular puns to describe the tea dance at Shipham on Sunday 30th October. But, I realised there wasn’t a ghostly chance I could convey even a skeleton idea of the blood curdling screams of delusional delight when the Terpsichorean Vampires descended upon, and thus, devoured the cakes with cream and flapjack. It really was a thriller. Thankfully, very few of the beautifully dressed attendees, rested between furious bouts of batty frolicking, in 3/4 and 4/4 time signatures, hanging upside down from the rafters.

All too soon, the ref. blew the Full Time whistle. Broomsticks were fired up and the cool, evening air was festooned with cackles as the tired little ghost busters decided upon witch way to fly home.

An absolute wizard of an afternoon!
